Yoga is a practice of being present—a devotion to showing up fully in each moment. It’s about finding the balance between movement and stillness, between effort and surrender. And in this space, we discover a deep awareness and connection with ourselves.
One of the most impactful lessons from my training was the significance of backbends. These poses are not just about physical flexibility—they symbolize standing tall in your power and having your own back. In poses like Tadasana (Mountain Pose), we root ourselves to the earth and stand strong, embracing our personal power and potential.
Yoga, at its core, is about quieting the mind and letting go of the need to control. It’s about practicing with intention, releasing what we hold onto, and finding peace in the process. Yoga reminds us that the journey is not about arriving at a destination, but about showing up, doing the work, and embracing the stillness that brings us closer to who we truly are.
